Frame Running (formerly known as racerunning) is an inclusive sport. It originated in Denmark over 20 years ago and is now becoming a Paralympic sport.
The frame features a lightweight, steerable front wheel and two sturdy but slim rear wheels, a comfortable chest support to lean into, and handlebars for stability and control. Your feet are free to move as you push yourself along, feeling the momentum build with each step.
You’ll feel supported and balanced, allowing you to focus on the joy of movement without worrying about falling over or losing balance. Whether you walk, or run, the frame glides smoothly beneath you. It’s a liberating experience, the frame almost becomes an extension of your body, allowing you to soar with a new sense of independence, moving freely and confidently.
It was started with those who have cerebral palsy in mind, but is now accessible to people with many other conditions affecting muscles, joints, or loss of stamina due to illness such as long Covid can also benefit.
Frame running is an exciting way to stay active and reach new goals!
